We hope to encourage more opportunities for sex education with these links to resources. Planned Parenthood has a wide curriculum and we have sorted through some of them. We created links to a few and will create more links. This is a start. Please remember to talk to your nurse or doctor about your health concerns.

  • AMAZE

    AMAZE harnesses the power of digital media to provide young adolescents around the globe with medically accurate, age-appropriate, affirming, and honest sex education they can access directly online—regardless of where they live or what school they attend. AMAZE also strives to assist adults—parents, guardians, educators and health care providers around the globe—to communicate effectively and honestly about sex and sexuality with the children and adolescents in their lives.

  • ASHA American Sexual Health Association

    Sexuality is a normal, healthy, and positive aspect of human life. The American Sexual Health Association (a.k.a. ASHA) believes that everyone has the right to information and services that will help them be sexually healthy.  We provide information and resources that are reliable, science-based, and stigma-free.

  • OAR Organization for Autism Research

    This guide is a sexuality and sex education resource written specifically for autistic people age 15 and up. Autistic people sometimes don’t have the chance to learn about sexuality and sex in ways that work for them, so OAR created this guide as a starting point to change that.

  • GLAAD

    GLAAD is a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change. GLAAD works to ensure fair, accurate, and inclusive representation and creates national and local programs that advance LGBTQ acceptance. Serving as a storyteller, media force, resource, and advocate, GLAAD tackles tough issues and provokes dialogue so that authentic LGBTQ stories are seen, heard, and actualized. GLAAD strives to protect all that has been accomplished and helps create a world where everyone can live the life they love.

  • PFLAG–Fighting for our Pride

    LGBTQ+ people—and especially LGBTQ+ youth—are under relentless attack, from book bans and classroom censorship to restrictions on gender-affirming care and efforts to erase our identities. Fighting for Our Pride is PFLAG’s campaign to equip, train, and mobilize families and allies to push back against these harmful policies.

  • Teaching Sexual Health

    Teaching sexual health is an innovative website developed by Alberta educators and health professionals. We offer up-to-date, evidence-based information and strategies for teachers and educators teaching the Alberta Education Human Sexuality curriculum and for parents of children from birth up to 18 years of age.

    Teaching Sexual Health transitioned from Alberta Health Services to Primary Care Alberta in 2025 – some materials will still have AHS branding and language as the transition is finalized.
