Fundraising
Every year, we organize two fundraising events to support our mission at MV Sexual Wellness. In the spring, we host our annual Lip Sync Contest where Islanders are encouraged to perform for cash prizes. In the fall, we also organize an annual Pig Roast with the help of the Portuguese American Club of Martha's Vineyard and Mo's Lunch.
LIP SYNC CONTENT
Every spring, our community comes together for a night of laughter, entertainment, and friendly competition—all in support of MV Swell. From hilarious renditions to show-stopping performances, contestants take the stage for a chance to win cash prizes, while our audience members play a crucial role in voting for their favorite acts. After filling every seat , sitting and standing room at the P.A. Club, in 2024 and 2025, we were honored to use the space at The Loft in Oak Bluffs to host this electrifying event, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening filled with music, laughter, and plenty of dancing!

PIG ROAST
Hosted in collaboration with our friends at the P.A. Club of Martha's Vineyard and Mo's Lunch, the cherished annual Pig Roast event is a highlight of the fall season. Picture lively music filling the air, the tantalizing aroma of slow-roasted pig, and the warmth of community spirit as we gather to support Friends of Family Planning initiatives. With delicious food, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities for fundraising, the Pig Roast is an unforgettable celebration of friendship and giving back.
